Band

Dress: Nasty Gal//Coat: U.S. Apothecacy//Headband: Anthropologie

Soaking up the tasteful back-patio space of Sara's gorgeous Beaufort home with Henrik one warm July afternoon in a hand-sewn coat unlike any I've owned or seen that I can't wait to whip back out again in the fall. You'll be seeing much more of this piece. With just enough sun on my face to make me stand out from a white wall, I'm almost too happy here.

Bedside

Considering I've been on bed rest for almost two weeks now--wait make that officially two weeks! congratulate me! blehhh--I'm struggling to come up with what to post when all I see is the messy contents of my bedroom and occasionally wobble out to the living room (on Saturday I even went and sat on the porch, it was a big day). Looking around, I realized the only thing I was interested in photographing was my bedside table because it is in a constant flux of books, candles, and notebooks. Soon I'll do a break-down of the books for you :)
Happy reading and rest rest rest, I've done more than enough!

Beach Lodging

I was that kid who spent a good portion of their childhood watching HGTV and planning on becoming an interior designer...maybe landscape if I had to. Alright, I started that out as if everyone knows who that kid was but I don't think it was entirely all that common. But yes, Candice Olsen was my hero, above all others. And while I don't think I'll be pursuing that anymore, home decor is still one of my all time favorite things to daydream about, design, drool over, watch on tv, and surf the web about (pun intended). So after seeing this post on The Glamourai, I decided I'd throw together a few things I'd put in my perfect beach lodge. Graphic patterns in beachy colors seemed to be the way I naturally went, and I'm quite happy with it. Now, on to getting a beach lodge...
