Garden Globes

As my graduation gift, I had my grandma (who was once President of the Missouri National Garden Club thank you very much) work on a terrarium with me to take to my dorm!

I now consider myself to be a bit of an expert (cough cough) so I can lay out the steps for you! So simple once you have all your stuff together, most importantly your terrarium (any glass dome/jar/mini-greenhouse is perfect) and small plants to put in! Succulents should be a priority.

You can also throw in fun little "accessories" that they sell in most nurseries close to the small plants or around large garden accessories (ie. flamingo's, duh). I picked out this sassy little lady (name ideas plz) and a mushroom!

This is the order in which you throw things into your terrarium^^^.

Voila! A perfect little home for sassy pigtail girl, her mushroom and her succulents/moss. My grandma also highly recommends mini African Violets (if you can find them, the ones we found were too big for this tiny space). Mist them daily, take off the lid when it gathers moisture and leave it off for about a day, and don't keep it in direct sunlight!

Band

Dress: Nasty Gal//Coat: U.S. Apothecacy//Headband: Anthropologie

Soaking up the tasteful back-patio space of Sara's gorgeous Beaufort home with Henrik one warm July afternoon in a hand-sewn coat unlike any I've owned or seen that I can't wait to whip back out again in the fall. You'll be seeing much more of this piece. With just enough sun on my face to make me stand out from a white wall, I'm almost too happy here.

Wavy

Radical, salty waves in Maine weren't so harsh as to make me need to wear my knee brace in the ocean (ie. my incredible fashion statement made further south in the Carolinas) but just enough to rock you to sleep.
Swimsuit; Nasty Gal
Oh yeah and it matches my towel...

Sunny Days

YES I have been gone for far too long and YES I regret it, but the bad news is my camera is STILL in the shop. These are taken with a temporary camera that is treating me very well and that I love, so shoutout to Canon yo.
Right now, I'm in Tennessee on the way out to South Carolina for the week, with plenty of lovely beach photos to come. For now, a great summer find at Target!
Adios, see you Savannah/Carolina.

Jack Sparrow'd

Cobblestone lanes are not all that common in Singapore, believe it or not. But when I stumble across them, figuratively and literally in the case where I'm wearing heels such as these, I'm amazed. After a glorious day of shopping on Haji Lane, we made our way up to Duxton Hill for dinner at Broth (highly recommended if you're visiting Singapore and...well...have a pretty loose budget). I bought these pants earlier this day in one of the greatest shops in existence called Soon Lee that I could easily spend the rest of my life in.

Bloom

Ta-da! Round 3 of the flower crown process is complete. I didn't use a headband to make mine but rather safety-pinned the leaves all the way around after measuring my head and it works just as well! Pretty much a summer must whether you're trooping around music festivals or going on picnics or going grocery shopping (turn some heads, yeah?).

K

Kaitlin soft-core rocking her flower crown/headband in elegant afternoon light. If that description didn't just tickle your sweet tooth, and nor did that mixed metaphor, then I can't help you.

Flowahs

Kaitlin and I threw together some flower crowns, which was ridiculously simple. Seeing as they cost around $15 at H&M and were in the most awful colors, making these clean and pretty white ones for only around $4 was definitely the way to go! I'll show you how they turned out later this week.

Pierced Heart

Time for a DIY on phone cases! ABM does such beautiful ones, so I'm going to start simple and work my way up to some pretty cool designs. This first one is something along the lines of "soft grunge". OKAY I TAKE IT BACK NO ONE UNDERSTANDS SOFT GRUNGE IT WAS A JOKE. But yes it's pink and there's studs and it's girly. Tadaaaa!

And my finished product looks like this!

Next will be a more hardcore case, fo sho. x

Dreamy Hair

Snapped these after just having woken up and realized this layering in my hair may actually make bedhead an okay look.

Sparkles

Using this as inspiration for a good friend of mine's 18th tonight! Perk up understated neutrals with a bang? Sounds perfect for the occasion :)

Peachy Beachy

Ahh the beach. What a time, what a place, what a peace of mind.
I wish to leave it at that.
Peace.
