The empty spaces of this building had me wanting to open up a few dance studios, or spin around them myself! Wouldn't these just be the most stunning dance studios? I was envisioning wall-length mirrors and all, wish a few of the pillars were out of the way. Not to mention this crazy bank vault door from god knows when leading into a mirror'd tunnel (last picture)! Gorgeous.

Garden Globes
As my graduation gift, I had my grandma (who was once President of the Missouri National Garden Club thank you very much) work on a terrarium with me to take to my dorm!
I now consider myself to be a bit of an expert (cough cough) so I can lay out the steps for you! So simple once you have all your stuff together, most importantly your terrarium (any glass dome/jar/mini-greenhouse is perfect) and small plants to put in! Succulents should be a priority.
You can also throw in fun little "accessories" that they sell in most nurseries close to the small plants or around large garden accessories (ie. flamingo's, duh). I picked out this sassy little lady (name ideas plz) and a mushroom!
This is the order in which you throw things into your terrarium^^^.
Voila! A perfect little home for sassy pigtail girl, her mushroom and her succulents/moss. My grandma also highly recommends mini African Violets (if you can find them, the ones we found were too big for this tiny space). Mist them daily, take off the lid when it gathers moisture and leave it off for about a day, and don't keep it in direct sunlight!

(((( decay ))))
The most modern decay I've encountered
(modern decay= potential band name?)
of a run-down airplane I slid through on my butt in a backwards-crab-walk maneuver I would like to copyright.
Shuffle
Lost in the shuffle, I forgot how much I love these photos. Kaitlin's lawwnngg legs gettin their tan on (not to mention looking fab in the sunglasses I made her) and my backpack perfectly matching the rope used on the boat. Maine was swell. Clearly my mind is still there.

Frozen Milo Dino with Pearls
This is so easy it hurts. You just gotta know where to look for stuff! After checking out Jay International Grocery in downtown St. Louis, I found loads of stuff that had me longing for Singapore, so in honor of their recent national day (this past Friday) I'm shaking up some frozen Milo Dino's with the addition of tapioca pearls.
For those who don't know, Milo is an absolute staple of the Singaporean diet, and I learned to love it within two weeks of living there (considering I had it spilled on my shirt every single day of sixth grade for unknown reason). It's chocolatey mineraly (arguably?) healthy stuff that you can put on ice cream, mix with water or milk, iced or warm, and it'll be fantastic. Here's what I did:
- Throw some ice in a blender
- Pour vanilla almond (or vanilla soy) milk to about 1/2 of the way up the blending pitcher
- Dump in as much milo as you want
- Blend it up
- Put two spoonfulls of tapioca pearls at the bottom of two glasses
- Pour blended Milo Dino into each glass
- Sprinkle unmixed Milo powder on top à la true Milo Dino tradition
Tada! A truly Singaporean treat, lah. Drink to your heart's content and imagine hawker stalls full of yelling and the pleasant scent of Durian drifting through your nasal passages.

ROOF
Paris, Rebecca, and the roof of the City Museum in downtown St. Louis. Yep, there's a ferris wheel on the roof, not to mention a bus hanging off the side of the building that I didn't exactly feel like climbing into. Giant praying mantis included while blanketed by clouds, it was sweet.

Band
Dress: Nasty Gal//Coat: U.S. Apothecacy//Headband: Anthropologie
Soaking up the tasteful back-patio space of Sara's gorgeous Beaufort home with Henrik one warm July afternoon in a hand-sewn coat unlike any I've owned or seen that I can't wait to whip back out again in the fall. You'll be seeing much more of this piece. With just enough sun on my face to make me stand out from a white wall, I'm almost too happy here.

We're just cute like that.
Pancakes by Kaitlin because I purely do not have any pancaking skill.

Wavy
Radical, salty waves in Maine weren't so harsh as to make me need to wear my knee brace in the ocean (ie. my incredible fashion statement made further south in the Carolinas) but just enough to rock you to sleep.
Swimsuit; Nasty Gal
Oh yeah and it matches my towel...
